OTE participated in the 18th International Conference WWW/Internet (ICWI-2019) (https://www.internet-conf.org/), on 07-09 November 2019, in Cagliari, Italy.
The Conference was organized by the International Association for Development of the Information Society (IADIS) and co-organised by University Degli Studi di Cagliari, Italy.
The WWW/Internet (ICWI) 2019 Conference aimed to address the main issues of concern within WWW/Internet. WWW and Internet had a huge development in recent years. Aspects of concern are no longer just technical anymore but other aspects have arisen. This conference aimed to cover both technological as well as non-technological issues related to these developments, able to strongly affect the global modern telecoms market.
In particular, the paper entitled “5G Edge Network Acceleration for Crowd Events” was presented, authored by A. Kostopoulos, I. Chochliouros, D. Munaretto, Claus Keuker and I. Giannoulakis.
