IS-Wireless is a globally operating, Polish software developer (SME) and IP provider, specialising in advanced solutions for wireless systems. IS-Wireless develops 4G and 5G algorithms, protocols and tools. Its clients are primarily early technology adopters including ODMs, OEMs, chip vendors, and operators. IS-Wireless is a proud recipient of various local recognitions including Micro-Entrepreneur of the Year 2013 and Innovator of Mazovia 2009.

Currently, IS-Wireless concentrates on the development of protocols for 5G Small Cells and experimental modelling of 5G RAN. 5G ESSENCE is a perfect extension of our current work on small cell protocols in the direction of their further virtualisation. Regarding 5G Small Cells, IS-Wireless has developed FAPI-compliant LTE eNB: https://www.is-wireless.com/small-cells/lte-enb-scheduler/ and is working on the architecture of LTE eNB protocol stack: https://www.is-wireless.com/small-cells/lte-enb-stack/. One of the very first projects realised by IS-Wireless was a design and implementation of a special purpose (public safety) wireless access communication system. It was realised for one of the supplier of Polish Ministry of Defence.
