The ZII-Germany unit previously was known as TriaGnoSys GmbH which was acquired by the Zodiac Aerospace group in 2013, is a world-leading technology provider for (satellite) backhauling of mobile/remote wireless systems and passenger communication systems on-board aircrafts, and has a long track record in R&D, in particular, successfully integrating prototypes, testbeds and demonstrators for various aeronautical applications. ZII has also several years of experience contributing to EC-funded R&D projects from FP6/FP7 and several German government-funded projects.
