The 5G ESSENCE project, via the Hellenic Telecommunications Organisation S.A. (OTE), has joined the FITCE-2018 Workshop (“New Era of Technology Innovation in ICT, 5G and Optical Technologies”) that has been held in Thessaloniki, Greece, on December 13, 2018^[1].

Mrs. Maria Belesioti from OTE has given a presentation entitled as “The Roadmap towards the Implementation of 5G in Europe” (see Figure 1), and has focused on innovative features coming from the 5G ESSENCE original context.
